The Hungarian violinist Izso Bajusz comes from Vojvodina. He had his first violin lessons at the age of seven, and at twelve he was awarded first prize at the Yugoslav national competition.
He studied under Thomas Zehetmair, Lukas Hagen and Erich Höbarth and Helmut Zehetmair. In the summer of 2000, he was concertmaster of the RIAS Youth Orchestra Germany.
Izso Bajusz has been the violinist in the Stadler Quartet since 2004, is a member of the Camerata Salzburg and the Vienna Chamber Orchestra, and also performs regularly with the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg.

If CAMERATA’s music were a culinary speciality from your home country – what would it be and why?
A mixed game ragout. All the ingredients are robust, full of character and unique, but after a long time simmering and stirring in the pot, and seasoned just right, perfection emerges – a harmony of flavours.
If Mozart were still alive: what would you like to say to him?
Thank you, thank you for everything, Wolfi! I regard you as the greatest genius of all time. You have had a huge influence on my life.
