I serve on the CAMERATA’s board because I want to play an active part in ensuring that CAMERATA, as part of this city’s cultural heritage, can continue to delight us with wonderful concerts and remains able to to nurture and further develop the unique ‘Mozart sound’ through its concert activities around the world as Salzburg’s cultural ambassador.
For me, what defines CAMERATA is that the musicians, as an independent ensemble, perform at the very highest level under their own responsibility, as well as the collaboration with outstanding soloists who discover and come to appreciate the spirit of partnership in chamber music with the orchestra, thereby creating a unique listening experience for the audience.
