Born in Oberndorf near Salzburg; completed his Matura at the HTL Salzburg;
Studied double bass performance in Salzburg, Vienna and Graz.
Concert diploma with distinction under Johannes Auersperg.
Played with the RSO Vienna from 1996 to 2000.
Member of the Camerata Salzburg since 2002.
Intense concert experiences, numerous tours to North and South America, Asia and many European music centres.&
Through a wide range of chamber music activities, the band JazzBrothers & Sister and as a church musician, he plays an active role in Salzburg’s musical life.
Has been teaching double bass for several years at the Upper Austrian State Music School System
