The "STRAWINSKY 2024" project is the next milestone on CAMERATA's journey into the future: The musicians' great wish is to make their own CD recording of Igor Stravinsky's most important works for chamber orchestra Apollon Musagète, Dumbarton Oaks and the Concerto en ré.

Due to the all-encompassing digital availability of music, it is no longer possible for record labels to generate the necessary revenue from CD sales to cover the costs of a production. In recent years, CAMERATA has therefore worked exclusively as a sought-after recording partner for renowned soloists. However, it is essential for orchestras to regularly create their own recordings, which will remain relevant as a reference for a certain repertoire in the future. We would therefore like to ask for your support in preserving the CAMERATA sound for all of us and for future generations.
