audition for SOLO viola and TUTTI viola

CAMERATA SALZBURG IS CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR VIOLA PLAYERS (F/M/D) TO FILL THE POSITIONS OF
1. SOLO viola
This shared position comprises a minimum 40% job (together minimum 80%).
2. TUTTI viola
This position comprises a minimum 60% job.
The successful applicants will gain regular membership with the orchestra CAMERATA Salzburg on a freelance basis. We would like to point out that these offers are not based on contracted employment.

For the application of the SOLO viola position please also send a video of you playing the 1st movement of either Hoffmeister, Stamitz, Brahms or Schubert "Arpeggione” (not longer than 3 minutes). The video should be recorded in one take and not edited. Please send the video via WeTransfer to bewerbung@camerata.at by August 3rd, 2026.
Auditions will take place in Salzburg on
• September 30th, 2026 for SOLO viola
• October 17th, 2026 for TUTTI viola.
Travel and accommodation costs cannot be reimbursed. We will send out the relevant pieces of music on demand.
